We all have some unique way of analyzing the world and fitting this information into our known world. From the moment you are born, you process the objects surrounding you through all your senses. Everything you touch, taste, see, hear and smell is stored in your memory. A normal person with no memory dysfunction will start to build a model of these sensory perceptions in their mind. Once you have seen something, it is captured and categorized in your memory. As this personal reference model is formed, it is constantly reinforced. If you recognize something from a previous experience that matches what you have in your memory and if it is the same or similar thing it reinforces your stored memory.
