Team Equipment's founder, John Geras, was instrumental in bringing Partner Saws into the fire service. What was then branded by FDNY as the K12 saw, originally carried a Partner logo. While the Partner name has long been absorbed by the parent company Husqvarna, for many years now, all K12 saw models have carries the Husqvarna logo.
