  • Founder and Chairperson of the Alliance
Sharon Williams is a Virtual Business Manager with over 25 years in the virtual assisting industry. Give us a call at 410-802-5968 and tell us how we can support you in achieving your goals. My experiences range from being a clerk typist, Executive Assistant and Program Compliance Officer for a local government agency. I also served as a Labor Relations Specialist and rose through the union hierarchy to become its first Black President, serving 7,000 members. (Yes, I'm proud of this accomplishment!) In 1989 after being laid off, I decided I would never let anyone else determine if I was going to get paid. I opened The 24 Hour Secretary and implemented a business model that eliminated a need to work for any employer again - 24/7 service, 365 days-a-year. Williams is the founder and chairperson of the Alliance for Virtual Businesses a collaborative globally represented organization of Virtual Assisting organizations and members. She is also the visionary leader of the annual Online International Virtual Assistants Convention, as well as the creator of International Virtual Assistants Day, (celebrated the third Friday of May, annually).
