Jessica is the Assistant Operations Manager and a family nurse practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Arizona State University where she concurrently graduated from Barrett, The Honors College at ASU. She received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Frontier Nursing University. She has been working in the field of sleep medicine with Dr. Hooper since 2006. Jessica's responsibilities at The Sleep Center include daytime screenings of patients for sleep disorders in conjunction with Dr. Hooper and educating the surrounding communities and medical professionals on sleep disorders and the sleep evaluation process.

Doctor Hooper is a board certified sleep specialist. The primary author of this web site, he began working in the field of sleep medicine at Walter Reed Army Medical Center the 1970's. After military service, he opened one of the first sleep laboratories in Arizona in 1980. Dr. Hooper's experience has included clinical practice, clinical research and the training of physicians and healthcare professionals. His research has been published in many journals including the "New England Journal of Medicine" and he has published over eighty articles and books. Dr. Hooper has authored a book on sleep disorders designed as a guide for patients with sleep problems. It is written clearly in an easily understood manner and has received excellent reviews. "Sleep and Its Disorders, What You Should Know," is now out of print. Dr. Hooper has achieved the level of Fellowship in the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the American College of Physicians and the American College of Chest Physicians. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and did his specialty training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. In January 2018, Dr. Hooper closed his clinical sleep practice (Southwest Sleep Consultants) and sleep center (The Sleep Center PC). He continues to be active in the sleep field with ongoing research, writings and educational activities. He is a Supplemental Consultant at the Center for Sleep Disorders at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix Arizona.
