Dennis B. Tilghman

Dennis has been a licensed funeral director since 1996. He is a graduate of Mercer County Community College with an Associate's Degree in Applied Science and also their Mortuary Science Program. In 2003 he purchased the funeral home from his father. Dennis is a member and past president of the Burlington County Funeral Directors Association, the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association. He is a member of the Pyramid Lodge #92 F&AM in New Egypt, the Plumsted 2020 Committee and is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Plumsted Township Business and Merchants Association. Dennis is also a member of the New Egypt United Methodist Church. He is married to Mary Ann and has two step sons; Kyle, who is currently pursuing his PhD in Marine Biology at the University of California, Santa Barbara and Tyler, who is a Professional Fireman/EMT in New Jersey. Dennis is a lifetime resident of New Egypt.

Eva Cawley

Eva Cawley, age 94, of Cookstown died Friday, November 17 at Innova Health & Rehab Center in Mount Laurel. Born in Cookstown, she was a life time resident. Eva was a member of the Cookstown United Methodist Church. Daughter of the late Roy & Rhodie (Parker) Cawley, she is survived by four cousins and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 20 at 8:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with Rev. Norman Eckley, officiating. Calling hours will be on Monday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Jacobstown Cemetery in Jacobstown.

Garry T. Lustgarten

Garry T. Lustgarten, age 63, of Cookstown died Thursday, November 9 at his residence. Born in Brooklyn, NY he had been an area resident for 30 years, moving from Long Island. Garry was a Navy Veteran of the Viet Nam War and was a member of the New Egypt Elks Lodge #2457. He was also a member and Past Master of the Pyramid Lodge #92 of F. & A.M. in New Egypt. He is survived by his wife, Eileen Lustgarten; three step-daughters, Anne McMearty & family of Sarasota, FL, Dr. Mildred Farmer & family of St. Petersburg, FL and Joyce Sanns & family of New Egypt; three brothers, John Paul Hoffman & family of Newport, Maine, Howard Lustgarten & family of Endicott, NY and Kenneth Lustgarten & family of Cream Ridge; and four brothers-in-law, Patrick, Donal, Michael & Neil Malloy & families all of Cookstown. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 14 at 10:30 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com) with interment to follow in the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. Calling hours will be on Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
