Thoma, began preparing tax returns for a few friends and business associates. As the years went by, the business began to grow and I was asked by Dad to join the firm in 1964. In the early years we would visit our clients home and prepare tax returns. Funny actually. We would sit down at the dinner table while family members watched and went about their routines. What began happening over the years was more and more family members started bringing their documents with them so my father and I could prepare their taxes, since we were there. We were now at the point where we needed to start thinking about a more permanent location and most definitely needed more help.
