He played football at Kansas State, received his MBA from the University of Nebraska Omaha and went on the play football in Germany. John recently earned his pilot's license and enjoys flying and hunting in his spare time.

Together with his brother, Shawn became an owner of McCardle's in 2020 after a combined 20+ years of experience working for the family business. A graduate of University of Nebraska Omaha, Shawn returned to his native city after living in Minnesota. He and his dog Buck enjoy fast cars and spending time with family.
