In 1983 a company named California Patio Door started supplying and manufacturing bottom patio door replacement tracks. This industry was founded because of the high demand of replacement patio door tracks that were no longer available through the original manufacturers. The California market was in need of replacement tracks due to the high rate of corrosion. This corrosion was caused by the chemical reaction between the lime in the stucco and the aluminum thresholds (patio door tracks). Tracks are also replaced due to normal wear and tear. Track Depot was founded in 1993 and in 1997 merged with California Patio Door to form Track Depot Inc. We are now supplying patio door and wardrobe door tracks throughout the United States.
