Anthony Veness

Job Titles:
  • Senior Design Technician - Structures ( Contractor )
Anthony takes pride in preparing quality, easy-to-understand documentation in his role as Senior Design Technician. He is also a trained Level 1 & 2 Bridge Inspector. He works directly with clients and other consultants, and provides practical site advice. Some of his projects include Trackstar Alliance - Ferny Grove Railway Station reconstruction scheme (Brisbane); Viridian apartments (Noosa Heads); Shell/Coles service station (Gympie); St Teresa Catholic College (Noosaville), and the iconic Walk and Ride Bridge across the Mayes Canal in Mooloolaba. We are fortunate to have Anthony's services, as he is also an active Building Designer. In the last couple of years, he and his wife have begun travelling parts of the world in their free time.

Brad Downes

Job Titles:

Brad has 14+ years' experience in civil/environmental engineering disciplines, having started his professional career in the construction industry. In Brad's spare time he enjoys a round of golf, watching the AFL and spending time with his wife and two young children.

Doug Reynolds

Job Titles:
  • Director - Civil Group
Doug has wide experience in construction, local government and consulting engineering. He's built roads in Wales; aircraft aprons for Sydney and Hong Kong's airports; hi-rise buildings in Melbourne and Sydney; and sections of the Hume and Bruce Highways in Eastern Australia. He's managed Noosa Shire Council's Works team, including people, projects and budgets. He makes invaluable contributions during the planning, design and construction of our projects. Doug enjoys a pretty enviable handicap at golf, tennis and travelling with his wife.

Hamish Gray

Job Titles:

Hamish brings enthusiasm and a personal calmness to his projects. He's worked in in Bulgaria, England, Australia and New Zealand on projects including Lufthansa Technik Sofia Aircraft Heavy Maintenance Facility (Bulgaria); Essence of Peregian precinct buildings (Peregian, Noosa); Darra Railway Station (Brisbane) and Ernest Henry Mine (via Cloncurry). In his free time, he swims, surfs, cycles, patrols Sunshine Beach as a surf lifesaver, and enjoys spending time with his young family.

Jason Finn

Jason's career spans over 30 years, during which he has delivered a diverse range of civil engineering designs in both the private and public sectors in Australia and the United Kingdom. His experience and capabilities, coupled with a broad knowledge of design standards and expertise in design software, extend across various aspects of civil infrastructure. He places a strong emphasis on understanding the client's objectives and actively collaborates with all stakeholders to achieve practical, economical, and holistic design outcomes. In his spare time, Jason enjoys playing golf, going camping, catching the odd fish, and spending time with his wife and children.

Narelle Paltridge

Narelle brings a wealth of administration and business knowledge to the team. With previous experience in large Corporate companies domestic and internationally, Narelle has also been a business owner. Narelle has Diplomas in Business, Management and HR Management and a Certificate IV in Building Design. Prior to joining TOD, Narelle spend 5 years working locally with a civil operations business. Narelle looks after our Office Administration, Quality Management System and brings a strong service orientated perspective in to her role. In her spare time Narelle enjoys the outdoor lifestyle and activities the Sunshine Coast has to offer, and takes a keen interest in what is happening within our local communities.

Stefan Prystupa

Stefan started Tod's practice in Noosa in the 1980s. He has a strong appreciation for architectural form, and can quickly develop an easy-to-construct structural design from architectural concepts. He's designed the Viridian Apartments (Noosa Heads); Hong Kong Science and Technology Park Offices; Shell/Coles Service Station (Bruce Highway, Gympie), St Teresa's College (Noosaville) and Coolum Caprice Apartments. Stefan has undertaken humanitarian deployments to Tanzania, Nias Island (Indonesia), Ethiopia and most recently to the Philippines.
