Dr. Aisa Sendijarevic

Dr. Aisa Sendijarevic has authored over 80 technical articles (papers, book chapters, and conference proceedings) and 17 US patents. She has over 30 years of research experience in isocyanate-based polymers and polyurethanes. Her research experience includes development of novel materials for medical, space, automotive, transportation and other industries. Specific interests include kinetics and mechanisms of isocyanate reactions; syntheses of polymers and co-polymers of defined chemical structure and properties; morphology and structure property relationships in polymers; polyurethane elastomers and foams; heat resistant polymers; environmental studies.

Dr. Ibrahim Sendijarevic

Dr. Ibrahim Sendijarevic holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and a B.S.E. degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Michigan, Ann-Arbor. He is the Business Development Director at Troy Polymers, Inc. He is focusing on assisting clients with commercialization of emerging and growth technologies for a variety of polyurethane applications. Ibrahim has assisted established chemical companies and new start-ups with the development of the value-propositions for emerging raw materials and with development and implementations of the commercial development strategies. Ibrahim was involved with launches of several startups, ranging in applications from medical devices to sustainable raw material platforms. From 2009 to 2013 he served as President of InfiChem Polymers, where he led the team in the launch of novel recycling technology for production of polyols with successful implementation in commercial production of automotive seats.

Dr. Vahid Sendijarevic has authored over 100 technical articles (papers, book chapters, and conference proceedings) and 21 US patents. He has 40 years of academic and industrial experience in research and development of polyurethanes and related isocyanate-based polymers. His research expertise includes elastomers, foams, binders, composites, polymer processes, clear hydrogels, heat resistant polymers, morphology and structure properties relationships, biodegradable materials, materials resistant to ionizing radiation, recycling. He lectured on related subjects at American and international professional meetings.
