TYRE AND RIM ASSOCIATION OF AUSTRALIA

The Tyre and Rim Association of Australia is a non-profit organisation offering technical information on all matter relating to tyres, wheels, rims, and related accessories. It does not include performance specifications, the testing of products, or tyre retreading standards... Early in 1950 representatives of tyre manufacturers and wheel and rim manufacturers in Australia met in Melbourne and agreed to join together as an association. Some months later, the Tyre and Rim Association of Australia (TRAA) was established on 20 October 1950... A committee of elected Directors from the tyre industry and wheel & rim industry are elected annually. The Directors meet at regular intervals to conduct the business of the Tyre and Rim Association of Australia.
