Unitex is a family owned and operated business that was established in 1976. Our original production included industrial workwear (lab coats, smocks, shirts and pants). In the early 90's our focus shifted to Flame resistant (FR) workwear (coveralls, overalls and shop coats)... Our vast experience in manufacturing Personal Protective clothing, combined with our constant interaction with fire departments, fire brigades and forest fire services across Canada, has made Unitex a leader in the protective clothing industry. Our Certified garments have been developed in collaboration with professional fire fighters. These cost-effective garments do not compromise or sacrifice quality, integrity, durability, or performance, and still provides limited protection to the end-user... Unitex manufacturers flame resistant (FR) personal protective equipment (PPE). We produce garments that are certified to national standards such as CGSB.
