Universal Builders was founded by Wayne Teicher in 1985 after the birth of his son, Shawn. Today, Father and Son work side-by-side crafting beautiful homes. Wayne started in the masonry trade in the 1970's. Since then he's become accomplished in all the building trades enabling him to become highly skilled at the coordination of projects-bringing them to completion on time and within budget. Shawn, formally trained in architectural design, joined the team in the early 90's. With his design and building skills, he's become a creative presence and valuable asset to Universal. Our support team of subcontractors is the culmination of the best skilled tradesman in the area. Most have worked with us for over 25 years resulting in good communications and quality-work.
