VC HEREFORD FARM

We started into purebreds in 1978, gradually building the herd to its present 100 cows. We started by buying groups of females from a number of different breeders. Since then, we have built the herd up by keeping the top 1/3 of our heifers every year. We have strived to breed cattle with well balanced traits, especially maternal traits.
