Dr Tushar Grover

Dr Tushar Grover, a proficient surgeon specialising in Cataract, Cornea and Refractive surgery has delivered invited faculty talks and research papers at various International and National fora including European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ESCRS), Asia Pacific Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgery(APACRS), Asia Pacific Academy Of Ophthalmology (APAO), All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS) and Intraocular Implant and Refractive Society of India (IIRSI). He has received various awards including Best Video in American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, International Heroes Award at the All India Ophthalmological Society and Best paper in Delhi Ophthalmological Society. He also has research publications in State, National and International journals including Journal of Refractive Surgery (JRS) and Indian Journal of Ophthalmology (IJO). He pursued his Masters of Surgery in Ophthalmology from Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai and Fellowship in Cornea, Refractive, and Cataract Surgery from Narayana Nethralaya, Bangalore, both institutions known for their pioneering work in ophthalmology. He has also been awarded the prestigious fellowship of International Council of Ophthalmology in the subspeciality of Cornea, and is a fellow of the All India Collegium of Ophthalmology in Cornea and Refractive Surgeries

Dr A K Grover, Chairman, is an Ophthalmologist of International repute. He has been awarded Padma Shri by the President of India in recognition of his distinguished services in the field of eye care in the country. He is a past president of the All India Ophthalmological Society and is a pioneer in phacoemulsification and oculoplastic surgery. He established the first centre at West Patel Nagar, New Delhi in the year 1996. The success of the centre necessitated the launch of the next centre that was located at Siri Fort Road, in the heart of South Delhi. Dr. A. K. Grover is a prominent name in the realm of ophthalmology. He is an alumnus of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Eye Centre, New Delhi. He pursued his degree of MD from AIIMS. He started his professional life with the Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi as an associate professor in the year 1984. In 1992, Dr. Grover joined Sir Ganga Ram Hospital as a senior consultant. In that period, he brought the speciality of oculoplastic surgery to the forefront, as well as he initiated FRCS exams at the hospital to strengthen medical teaching programs. To provide the patients world-class eye treatments, Dr. Grover founded Vision Eye Care Centre, New Delhi in the year 1995. His area of specialities involves oculoplastic, orbital, lacrimal, periocular aesthetic surgery, phacoemulsification and refractive surgery (Lasik including bladeless femtosecond LASIK and ICL). The enormous contributions of Dr. Grover have earned him several recognition including prestigious ‘Padma Shri' award by the president of India, the Fellowship of MNAMS, FRCS (Glasgow) FIMSA and FICO. Currently, Dr. A. K. Grover is available at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital as the senior consultant, ophthalmology, and chairperson, Vision Eye Centers, New Delhi.'

Dr. Apoorv Grover

Dr Apoorv Grover graduated from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. He did his residency at Aravind Eye Hospital in Madurai and also subsequently went on to pursue his fellowship in Vitreo retina from the renowned institute. He has worked as a consultant at Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya in Chitrakoot, M.P, a centre well known for its innovative model of high volume surgical work and selfless service. He has done his hands on training in Retinopathy of Prematurity and paediatric retinal disorders from L.V Prasad Eye Institute in Hyderabad. He has actively participated and presented papers in various national and international conferences. He has been awarded the acronyms Fellow of International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO), Fellow of All India Collegium of Ophthalmology (FAICO- Vitreo Retina), Member of National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS).

Dr. Smita Kapoor Grover

Dr Smita graduated from Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun and completed her Masters in ophthalmology from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. She has also passed the Diplomate National Board. She did a long term fellowship in paediatric ophthalmlogy and strabismus from Sankara Eye Hospital, Coimbatore following which she went to New York Eye and Ear Infirmary for the ICO fellowship and later to All India Institute of Medical Sciences for a short term fellowship. She has actively participated and presented papers in various national and international conferences. She was awarded the best paper award at Delhi Ophthalmological Society in 2018.
