VERACRUZ TRANSMISSION

Veracruz Transmission was founded by Jose Gomez in 2004. As a child, Jose spent his days watching his father work on cars in his repair shop in Chicago. It was during this time that Jose learned the value of every automobile, and learned how with the right care and knowledge he could extend the life and performance of any car or truck. When Jose graduated high school he decided to enter the transmission field, where he learned how to use computer based diagnostic tools to enhance his deep knowledge of automobile transmissions. Before opening Veracruz Transmissions with his sons, he rebuilit transmissions at three outstanding facilities in the area for over 25 years. Although Jose was learning the most advanced techniques in auto repair, he never forgot the lessons he learned from his father all those years ago.
