Aubrey A. Mauritson

Mrs. Mauritson was born and raised in Lemon Cove where she and her family farm citrus. Mrs. Mauritson's family has farmed in the Lemon Cove and Lindsay areas since the late 1800's. Aubrey (Cairns) Mauritson was born and raised in Lemon Cove, Tulare County, where she and her family farm citrus. Mrs. Mauritson's family has farmed in the Lemon Cove and Lindsay areas since the late 1800's. Her practice is solely focused on water law issues and representing water-related public and private entities. She is very active in the local implementation of the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act of 2014 (SGMA). Mrs. Mauritson previously practiced civil litigation, land use and water law at Perry, Johnson, Anderson, Miller & Moskowitz in Sonoma County, where her husband's family farms wine grapes and operates a family winery. In Sonoma County, her practice included representing several water agencies and routinely advising clients on employment-related matters including employment discrimination issues and wage and hour cases. She also worked on several CEQA litigation cases. Mrs. Mauritson previously worked for the Fresno County Farm Bureau, where her position required monitoring state and federal legislation as well as advocating for Farm Bureau members at the local government level. She has been a contributor to Farm Bureau publications updating members on recent laws and issues. Mrs. Mauritson returned to the Central Valley in 2015 to continue running her family farming operation. Mrs. Mauritson received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in the Legal Environment of Business, summa cum laude, from Fresno State. She graduated from McGeorge School of Law, with distinction. At McGeorge, Mrs. Mauritson studied water law, land use, environmental law, as well as international water law and was awarded a Witkin Award for academic excellence in water law. She also studied constitutional law with Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy. Mrs. Mauritson is a member of the Tulare County Bar Association, California State Bar Environmental and Labor & Employment Law Sections, Tulare and Sonoma County Farm Bureaus, and is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Daniel L. Evans

Daniel L. Evans was born and raised in Visalia, California. He graduated summa cum laude from La Sierra University in Riverside, California with a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2010. He received his Juris Doctor in 2013 from Chapman University School of Law. At Chapman, Mr. Evans served as the Production Editor of Chapman's Nexus Journal of Law and Policy and as a certified mediator in the Superior Court of Riverside County through Chapman Law's Mediation Clinic. While attending law school, Mr. Evans also worked as a law clerk at Kurtz, Anderson & Associates, an estate planning and business law firm in southern Orange County, as an intern at the Orange County Office of the County Counsel, and as an intern at the Superior Court of California, Orange County. After graduating law school and his admission to the bar in 2013, Mr. Evans began working as an associate attorney at the Firm. Mr. Evans became a partner at the firm in 2018. Mr. Evans' areas of practice include business and commercial law, real estate law, estate planning, trust administration, probate, and civil litigation. Mr. Evans represents business owners, professionals, and farmers in forming and operating business entities (such as corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships), handling business, commercial, and real estate transactions, preparing and reviewing commercial and agricultural contracts and leases, and developing real estate. Mr. Evans also represents clients in various civil litigation matters, including breach of contract, partnership disputes, landlord-tenant disputes, construction defects, easement and boundary disputes, condemnation actions, quiet title actions, and partition actions. In addition, Mr. Evans enjoys working with individuals to create and implement their estate plans, including individuals requiring gift and estate tax planning. He also represents clients administering trusts or probate estates and in will and trust disputes. Mr. Evans, his wife, and three children live in Visalia, California. Mr. Evans enjoys basketball, skiing, studying history, and being involved with his community through participation in church, school, and community organizations.

Gary H. Ruddell

Mr. Ruddell was born in Caldwell, Idaho, on January 16, 1945. He is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara (B.A. cum laude, 1966) and University of San Francisco (J.D., 1969). Mr. Ruddell was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1970. He is a member of the Tulare County Bar Association (President, 1981) and the Supreme Court of California. Jaclyn Z. Warwick

Jaclyn Z. Warwick was born and raised in the San Joaquin Valley. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Azusa Pacific University, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2019. Ms. Warwick attended the University of California Irvine School of Law and received her Juris Doctor in 2022. While in law school, Ms. Warwick served as an Executive Editor of UC Irvine Law Review, and contributed as an author to the same. During law school, Ms. Warwick worked as a law clerk at Schilling Law Group PC, a business litigation firm; as an intern at the Superior Court of California, Orange County; and as a legal aid in the Health Unit of Community Legal Aid SoCal. Ms. Warwick joined the Firm in 2022. Ms. Warwick's practice focuses on civil litigation, business and real estate transactions, property disputes, corporation and LLC formation, and estate planning and litigation. Ms. Warwick is a member of the Tulare County Bar Association, the Tulare-Kings County Estate Planning Council, and the Visalia Sunset Rotary Club.

Josh T. Fox

Josh T. Fox has successfully litigated a diverse range of civil disputes related to complex business and real estate transactions, land and water use, employment matters, personal injury and wrongful death cases, and constitutional claims. He vigorously advocates for his clients in both state and federal court, from pre-litigation settlement efforts through trial and appeal. In 2018 and 2019, Mr. Fox was selected for inclusion in the Northern California Super Lawyers "Rising Stars" List for the area of civil litigation - an honor reserved for a very small percentage of attorneys in California. Mr. Fox was raised in Visalia, and gained interest in the practice of law when he participated in Redwood High School's highly esteemed Mock Trial program. He then received a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Southern California, and earned his Juris Doctor Degree at California Western School of Law, where served as Editor-in-Chief of the California Western Law Review and graduated summa cum laude, ranking first in a graduating class of 274. In addition, Mr. Fox earned a Legum Magister (or "LL.M") degree in Public Law & Policy from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. During his LL.M studies, Mr. Fox served the California Assembly Committee on the Judiciary, where he was recognized as "the most impressive intern the Assembly Judiciary Committee has ever had in over two decades."

Matthew W. Bixler

Mr. Bixler is a native of Tulare, California. He is a 1993 graduate of Pepperdine University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Mr. Bixler also attended Pepperdine's campus in London where he studied business law. He continued his education by earning a Juris Doctorate degree from UCLA School of Law in 1996. At UCLA, Mr. Bixler was active in several law journals and student organizations, including serving as the President of the Federalist Society, acting as an editor of the law school newspaper, and participating in moot court. Mr. Bixler was admitted to the Bar in 1996. He is a member of the California Bar Association and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Tulare County Bar Association. Mr. Bixler is an officer and director of the Tulare-Kings County Estate Planning Council and a former President of the Tulare County Young Lawyers' Association. In civic matters, Mr. Bixler has acted as the Board President for Able Industries, and is a past board member for Tulare County Hospice. He is also a member of the Visalia Rotary club, having served on the Board of that organization. Nicholas B. Buss

Nicholas B. Buss focuses his practice on estate planning and administration, business entity formation and transactions, real property transactions, and business litigation.
