Ledge Haven Farm is located near the shores of beautiful Lake Champlain in Orwell, Vermont. The Audet family has owned the farm since the early 1970's but the history of the property dates back to the American Revolutionary War. Down the road from Ledge Haven is historic Mount Independence, the site of Fort Independence, one of the most important sites of the early stages of the war. We have several historic structures on our property, including a horse barn from the 1860's and a hay storage barn from 1880, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Co-owners, Tom and Mike Audet, have run Ledge Haven Farm as a dairy and maple syrup operation for over 45 years. Today, a young farmer has taken over the dairy portion of the business. Tom and Mike, with the help of their wives and extended family, still continue to work together to make our delicious maple syrup.
