Dr. Weippert is a full-time associate with The Gastroenterology Clinic & Endoscopy Center. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency, and also served as Chief Resident, at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren, OH. Dr. Weippert went on to complete his Gastroenterology Fellowship at Millcreek Community Hospital - LECOM in Erie, PA.
While completing his fellowship, Dr. Weippert was awarded the 2011 Merck Outstanding Resident of the Year award, an honor given to only four osteopathic residents nationwide. In 2013, he was appointed Chief Fellow of Gastroenterology.
Dr. Weippert currently serves as the Clinical Instructor of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology, at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is an active member in numerous professional organizations, some of which include the Sigma Sigma Phi National Osteopathic Honorary Society, the Gold Humanism Honor Society, the American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Osteopathic Association.
Dr. Maycon also served as the committee vice president for the Healthcare Underwriters Group (HUG)
