Austin Root

Prior to joining Wealbridge Capital, Austin worked in the Global Markets and Investment Banking division of Merrill Lynch in New York City. As a Vice President in the New Product Development group, Austin worked with large institutional clients to develop structured products tailored to accomplish their particular business objectives. In doing so, Austin was responsible for executing billion dollar transactions for clients such as Royal Dutch Shell, Merck, and Deutsch Bank, to name a few. Austin graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1999 with a bachelor of the arts in economics.

Bruce Rossignol

Based in San Francisco, CA, Bruce brings a wealth of experience and talent to the firm. Prior to joining Wealbridge, Bruce spent nine years sourcing and executing M&A and capital transactions in the financial services industry, primarily working with regional and community commercial banks and thrifts. Bruce graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a focus in finance and management and was a 3 year starter, 4 year letterman on the Quaker varsity football team where he also earned Academic All-American honors. Bruce is a passionate believer in alternative and holistic wellness and is a graduate of Oaksterdam University and certified in the medical cannabis industry.

David Townsend

David joins Wealbridge after spending over 10 years in the equity derivatives business - working in New York, London, and Chicago - with two of the most respected trading firms in the industry, Wolverine Trading LLC and Liquid Capital Markets. He has traded and managed positions in over 600 different stocks and portfolios of well over $50 million in the US and Europe encompassing virtually every sector in the marketplace and thus brings a substantial network of global financial contacts, resources and knowledge to Wealbridge. David received his B.S. from the Wharton School of Business with a dual concentration in finance and real estate.

Randy Smith

After receiving his degree in corporate finance and applied economics from the University of Florida, Randy began his career in corporate finance with Coca-Cola U K where his analysis of the company's regional bottling relationships and recommended £380 Million acquisition plan were featured on the front page of the Wall Street Journal (European Edition). After returning to the U.S., Randy co-founded Rocket Science Creative out of a garage. RSC was soon purchased by Sarkissian/Mason and The Business Journal ranks it one of the top interactive agencies in Arizona. Randy then became enamored with the hospitality business, and entered the sector by forming Bottom Line Hospitality Group which opened and developed a dozen food & beverage outlets, most notably, Mickey's Hangover, a casual and funky restaurant lounge that won numerous local and national awards, including the 2001 National Concept of the Year. He also concepted and developed and owned SIX Lounge, which became the decade's standard bearer for upscale nightlife in Arizona. SIX won every award possible including Esquire Magazine's "Top 50 Bars in the U.S." and Bombay Saphire's "Top 10 Best Designed Bars in the World. Identifying opportunities in emerging markets and proving out how to create successful concepts for these settings are Randy's expertise and his passion. He brings to all of his projects a high level of energy and dedication, an unwavering attention to detail, a consistent demand for excellence and a relentless drive for success. It is this drive and contagious inspiration combined with the partners' rich experience that defines this firm. Randy has received many awards for his work and was most recently mentioned in U.S. News and World Report and featured in the March issue of Entreprenuer Magazine.
