Scott began his career with Wood & Conn in November of 2014, after spending 6 years as an Independent Claims Adjuster, and 22 years as a Documentation Coordinator at Artesyn Technologies.
Scott was raised on a farm southwest of Wabasso, MN where they operated a dairy operation until 1979 along with a farrow to finish hog operation. They grew corn, soybeans, and alfalfa. Scott continues to enjoy helping his brother on the farm on a seasonal basis. Scott is a graduate of Wabasso High School, Southwest Technical College, and Ridgewater College.
Scott has been married to his wife Shelly since 1984, and they have three adult children, Nikki, Derek, & Brennan. The Baunes have lived in Redwood Falls since 1984.
Tim Gilk is the owner of Wood & Conn since 2006, and has been employed here since 1997. He handles phone orders, quotes, parts, and truck dispatch.
Tim started here as a Territory Manager covering southest Minnesota, northwest Minnesota, and North Dakota. He is a graduate of Eden Prairie High School and the University of Minnesota-Morris with bachelor's degrees in Business-Economics and Spanish. Tim has been married since 1991 to his wife Jennifer Gilk, and they have three children; Carter, Spencer, and Abby. The Gilks have lived in Redwood Falls since 1993.
