Adam Parry-Wingfield

Adam brings 30+ years of experience in the marine insurance industry. This began on the Lloyd's of London trading floor in 1990, and was followed by a move to Canada in 1997. He joined Wylie-Crump in 2022, to develop the marine practice. In his previous position as Managing Director with a global broking firm, Adam oversaw a national marine portfolio, working directly with a diverse group of clients in the marine and transportation industries. Over his career, Adam has specialized in providing insurance and risk advisory solutions to marine terminals, port authorities, vessel owner/operators of all types and sizes, shipyards, rail operators, and cargo owners. Adam is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII), Chartered Insurance Broker, and holds a BA (Hons) degree from Exeter University, all UK. Outside of work Adam enjoys outdoor activities with his family, in particular running with the dog, as well as spinning the occasional vinyl record.

Amanda Richardson

Amanda admired the family-like culture that Wylie-Crump has and saw the potential for her to add value to the rapidly growing company in the human resources, administrative, and accounting departments. Outside of her job, Amanda is passionate about her health, community, and growth. Brian Lawson

Brian has over 30 years experience in the insurance industry, specializing in all things surety. He began his career as a surety underwriter in 1990 and was instrumental in expanding operations to the westcoast for one of Canada's largest surety companies. He had worked as a surety broker for 12 years before becoming an owner and managing partner of Wylie-Crump in 2009. Brian is a Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) through the Insurance Brokers Association of British Columbia. He was regional chair of the Surety Association of Canada and is an active participant in all of the regional construction associations. He enjoys a good game of golf and the NFL.

Brock Lawson

Having been a trusted real estate development consultant on many new residential developments in Metro Vancouver, Brock brings a wealth of knowledge as a former real estate data manager and has a deep understanding of the British Columbia real estate market. Brock obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree specializing in real estate development from the University of British Columbia in 2018 and currently manages and provides support on various insurance programs for local developers, including project specific wrap-up, builder's risk, and corporate insurance policies.

Carlyle Machinski

Carlyle has 16 years of experience in the insurance industry and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration alongside two insurance designations: Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) and Canadian Risk Management (CRM). Prior to joining Wylie Crump, she worked at a construction-focused brokerage providing risk management and insurance advice to contractors, residential developers, and clients with heavy real estate portfolios. In addition to knowledge within the construction industry, she is well versed in marine insurance and commercial auto fleets. Outside of work, Carlyle enjoys playing volleyball (both indoor and beach) as well as hiking, camping and paddle boarding.

Darlene Stevenson - COO

Darlene has decades of experience in the insurance industry, specializing in client service as well as operational leadership roles. She began her career in both Client Service and Broking roles with a large international brokerage firm. Over her 30-year career with another global broker, Darlene specialized in providing insurance and risk management solutions to public entities as well as project management and operations in Vancouver. In most recent years, she held the role of Regional Operations leader for Canada as they transformed to a North American business model. She is an early adopter and enjoys working collaboratively with teams to continuously improve how we deliver the best services to clients. Darlene is a Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) through the Insurance Brokers Association of British Columbia. Outside of work, Darlene enjoys many outdoor activities like flyfishing, adventure motorcycling and has recently begun to learn sailing with the goal of travelling the world.

Duncan Stanage

Duncan jumped into the construction industry straight out of university, with the majority of his career spent in the Surety Bonding space. Prior to joining Wylie-Crump, he held progressively senior underwriting positions at two international bonding companies, working with both regional and national clients across a breadth of construction disciplines. He specializes in working with construction companies to manage and optimize their bonding facilities while ensuring they are matched with a bonding company that will allow the contractor to achieve their business plan. Duncan holds a finance and economics degree. He is an active participant of the regional construction associations, the BC Roadbuilders Association, and the Surety Association of Canada. He likes to spend his spare time golfing and traveling.

Graham Sibbald

For the past 25 years, Graham has dedicated himself to providing my clients with a comprehensive approach to their risk management needs. He believes in hard work, an unwavering attention to detail and consistently earns his clients trust and appreciation as their outsourced risk manager. Graham's primary areas of industry expertise include: Construction of Social and Civil Infrastructure, Land and Property Development, Real Estate Portfolio Management and Professional Services (A&E). I'm focused on building long term relationships with my clients by carefully understanding what they want to achieve and creating effective risk management solutions to help them achieve those goals. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of British Columbia, a Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designation and a Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation from Simon Fraser University. Graham promotes a healthy and strong construction sector as past chair and board member of the Vancouver Regional Construction Association (VRCA) and as a past Director of the British Columbia Construction Association (BCCA). Janine Wolpert

Prior to joining Wylie Crump, Janine primarily worked on mineral exploration accounts, which allowed her to develop expertise in this niche field. Janine also brings experience as an Insurance Underwriter which provided her with imperative first-hand knowledge and sharpened her risk assessment, record-keeping, policy writing and decision-making abilities. Due to Janine's experience, she can thoroughly understand the hazards and exposure a client faces and be able to properly ensure the clients have adequate coverages and limits in place. During her free time, Janine loves to get outdoors and spending time walking her dog.

Julie Lee

With over 30 years experience as Controller for firms including a national outdoor retailer and women's apparel manufacturer, Julie joined Wylie-Crump in 2014 to oversee the accounting, human resources and administrative functions. Prior to leaving the workforce for eleven years to raise three children, Julie earned a professional accounting designation. During this absence, her work experience and skills were applied in various roles as an active parent volunteer on school committees and sport organizations. In part II of her corporate career, Julie is now focused on small business and contributing her financial expertise to support owner/operators. Her overall goal as always is to achieve balance and an exceptional level of client service.

Mary Mendes

Mary has worked in the Insurance Industry for over 37 years, first as a Personal Lines underwriter on the company side and gradually crossing over to the broker side in 1982. She has spent 17 years in the cold tundra known as Prince George as a Commercial Lines assistant, before moving back to Vancouver and joining the Wylie-Crump group in 2012. She is driven by loyalty, hard work and prides herself in being a team player. Mary has attained a Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker, CAIB designation, along with in-valuable insurance knowledge that she acquired from her many insurance mentors along the way. In her copious free time Mary can be found with her family and grandchildren. Her passions include cooking/baking, running, hiking and traveling, when time permits.

Matt Hastings

Matt joined Wylie-Crump in 2023 with more than 10 years of experience in construction risk. After starting his career in surety at a large global broker, he pivoted to directly supporting general contractors' Subcontractor Default Insurance (SDI) and subcontractor prequalification programs. Most recently, Matt was managing the SDI program of one of the largest general contractors in Canada. Matt brings a breadth of experience in both subcontractor prequalification and SDI programs as well as the practical application of performance security mechanisms at both the prime contract and subcontract levels.

Nolan Heuchert

Nolan is a Director of Wylie-Crump Limited and has been focused on servicing the insurance and risk advisory needs of the construction and design industry sector since 1995. As a former senior officer and construction practice leader for a large international insurance brokerage firm (Marsh Canada Limited), Nolan has been engaged in a wide spectrum of complex domestic and international insurance programs as well as several Public Private Partnership (P3) projects across Canada. Nolan is involved and participates in a number of local and national construction / design industry associations. He is currently the chair of the Risk Management Committee for the Canadian Design Build Institute (CDBI), a chapter of the Canadian Construction Association. Nolan's educational background includes a university degree in the discipline of economics and public administration from the University of Saskatchewan. In addition, Nolan holds a Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designation and his Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation through Simon Fraser University.

Pia Espinosa

Sandie Morton

Prior to joining Wylie-Crump, Sandie was a Vice-President for a large international broker and was responsible for the co-ordination of services to large, multinational construction accounts. Earlier in her career, Sandie worked in the construction and heavy equipment sector, which brings a hands-on perspective to the inner workings of the industry. She has experience with both Canadian and US construction risks and has a detailed understanding of both Canadian and US contracts. Sandie is a Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) through the Insurance Brokers Association of British Columbia. She has completed the Insurance Law program offered by the Continuing Legal Education Society and has taken many workshops on the subject of insurance and contract law.

In addition to her commercial marine experience, Sandy works with a diverse client base which includes construction, real estate, and commercial/wholesale clients. Sandy graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Shaun Johnston
