The Farrington family has been running outdoor activity and language courses for over 20 years and have welcomed thousands of students from around the world into the warmth and comfort of their family home to become part of the ‘family' and to enjoy a unique and memorable experience. Moorland Hall is a Victorian Country House located in the beautiful surroundings of Dartmoor National Park in West Devon. The house stands within its own large garden with a heated swimming pool. It has direct access onto the moor and is thus ideally situated for a huge variety of outdoor pursuits which are offered in our courses. Moorland Hall is a private enterprise and a family home, therefore children quickly feel at home in the warm and cheerful atmosphere that pervades the house. The dedicated and friendly staff support the children in every way and are there to help... Testament to the success of our approach is the increasing number of returning students or their siblings as well as school groups...
