Andrew Burrow is an experienced business leader and strategist and spent much of the last 20 years in organically developing and leading business in the engineering and environmental fields. He has operated at board level in global multidisciplinary consultancies for a number of years before starting 5 Capitals, Andrew combines this managerial and business experience in leading the 5 Capitals business. He has lived on 3 different continents, with project experience in 5.As a Chartered Engineer, Andrew's technical experience has included participation in all stages involved in the implementation of various engineering projects. His wide experience includes feasibility studies, budget cost estimating, conceptual and detailed planning, preliminary and detailed design, preparation of tender and contract documentation, final cost estimating, site supervision, project administration and management. Primarily involved in water and environmental projects and in particular sewerage, water supply, water loss detection, environmental impact assessment, environmental management and due diligence, Andrew has the technical background to help him be the commercial lead of the business.
One of Andrew's key qualities is his client development and relationship management skills and he uses these skills not only to grow the business but also to help convene partnerships to deliver complex Client needs.

Kenneth Wade is an Environmental and Social Strategy Expert with 35 years experience of major projects across 4 continents. He began his career as an Environmental Regulator in the UK water industry, where for 11 years he worked on the development of biological indicators for regional and national projects influencing UK Environmental Policy. He was among the early pioneers to publish evidence of acid rainfall impacts on river biodiversity in the UK.
As a Technical Director for ESIA, SEA, ESDD, auditing and Waste Minimisation projects, Ken has lead multidisciplinary teams on many iconic projects in the public and private sector across the world. He has often provided expert evidence in courts of law and planning enquiries.
For the past 15 years Ken has developed environmental strategy and standards for national regulators and new economic cities in Saudi Arabia. He has also provided technical advisory roles for Ministries and Municipalities and lead a portfolio Compliance Assessment for the largest public sector power utility in the Region.
Ken has taken major Power, Water, Mining and Infrastructure projects to Financial Close. From his base in the UAE, he leads 5 Capitals' expert team throughout the Middle East, Africa and in the ASEAN Region. Fossil fuel and renewable projects for all technologies have been successfully completed to Equator Principles, World Bank/IFC and numerous financial institutions and Export Credit Agency standards for >50,000 MW of Power and >2million m 3/ daily of potable Water.
An experienced Environmental, Social and Governance professional based in Dubai. Max Burrow has track record of project advisory in over 25 countries, primarily in the MENA, Sub-Saharan Africa, Central & South-East Asian regions; as well as the UK.
Max has advised and delivered technically on a range of projects, programmes, government strategies, lender transactions and acquisitions. This has included Environmental & Social Impact Assessments, E&S management systems, ESG, auditing, due diligence and other bespoke solutions.
Max has key expertise on the environmental and social requirements of projects involved in international finance and regulatory approvals.
