Almost Home was created out of a desire to honor Ruey, a rescued Neapolitan Mastiff, who provided years of unsurpassed joy, companionship, and love. While Ruey will be forever missed, AHAS can provide homes for pets like Ruey, who need help finding their special forever home. Almost Home was born out of our deep love of animals. We love each animal that passes through our doors and provide an Almost Home, until they go to their forever home... AHAS wants to foster responsible pet ownership, which includes taking responsibility for creating well behaved dogs. It is our purpose to illuminate the role owners have for their pet's behavior.
