Amherst Fund LLC is a privately held investment company based in Ann Arbor, Michigan that specializes in private equity and community investment... Since 1998, Amherst Fund has provided capital to privately held Midwestern companies across many sectors. We are a closely held, closely capitalized fund with no outside or institutional investors... Though Amherst Fund has largely exited its control investments, we continue to manage our remaining investments, including non-control positions in certain growth companies. Our strategic decision to exit our control investments means that we are not currently considering new investments in privately held ventures.
