There are an infinite number of solutions to any design problem. Each project brings with it a new client, a new budget, a new site and new functional requirements. These new variables ensure that each project is entirely unique, and that any new building is tailored directly to its new owners' wants and needs... I believe there is a great benefit to creating connections between the interior of a building and it's natural surroundings. In each project I aim to connect the interior and exterior spaces. A design solution that is tailored to the specific requirements of a site ensures interesting and dynamic outcomes on difficult sites, sloping sites or sites with trees. Each building becomes a reflection of its unique site and is enriched by its own characteristics.
