Lisa Ruggiers is AOLP's Executive Director, working with the leadership for the past 10 years. Lisa has the staff leadership role and works with the AOLP Board of Directors, the Executive Committee and the Bylaws & Policy Committee. Lisa has over 24 years of non-profit experience focused mostly on trade associations in the areas of expertise ranging from strategic direction, budgeting and organizational management to public relations/marketing and event planning.

Matt Carli serves as the Lead Designer for Moonlighting Landscape Lighting Systems located in Charleston, S.C. Matt has been with Moonlighting since 2010 as well as an active member of the AOLP in that time, while earning his COLD certification in 2020. Matt is a 2007 graduate of Lander University where he earned a degree in history. Moonlighting serves the greater Charleston area and beyond while focusing on creative and innovative design and installation concepts for the residential and commercial markets.

Nick Schriver, CLVLT, is the president, owner and lead designer of Decorating Elves, a premier outdoor lighting and holiday décor company located on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Nick is a graduate of Landscape Architecture from the Ohio State University and has been doing outdoor and holiday lighting design for more than a decade. He has completed some of the most talked about and highly visible projects in the Tampa Bay area… everything from restaurants and clubs to condos and luxury residential homes. The team at Decorating Elves does more than 250 high-end Christmas lighting and holiday décor projects every year. Nick's many years of experience have made him a qualified holiday lighting expert and AOLP award winner.

Greensboro native, Pete attended Grimsley High School and graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Business. Pete runs the day-to-day operations at Southern Exposure and oversees all aspects of the company making sure a high level of excellence is maintained in every area. Pete continues to take multiple courses every year to keep up-to-date on the latest trends, techniques and requirements within the industry. Pete is a Certified Low Voltage Lighting Technician (CLVLT) and is enrolled in the COLD (Certified Outdoor Lighting Designer) program as well as an ICPI (Interlocking Concrete Paver Institute) and SRWI (Segmented Retaining Wall Institute) certified installer.

Ryan Jaso has been heavily involved in the landscape lighting industry since 2005. Initially, Ryan solely focused on low voltage cabling, but after falling in love with the industry as a whole, he expanded his offerings into all faucets of outdoor lighting (and audio). Jaso credits the support of his amazing team members for helping build one of the most innovative and fastest growing distribution firms in the nation.

A 15-year member of AOLP, Bill Knowles has served on the awards committee for many years. He is the owner of Northern Outdoor Lighting and has a longtime presence in the Boston, Mass. area. The company works closely with high-quality landscape contractors and some of the best landscape architects and designers in the market. Knowles' personal focus is on business development and sales.
