Amanda Belton

Dr. Belton was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. She has known that she wanted to become a veterinarian since she was a small child. She pursued and completed her degree in Laboratory Animal Science at North Carolina A & T and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She then completed her degree in veterinary medicine at Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine. She enjoys the variety found in small animal general practice as well as seeing patients throughout their lifetime. Her medical interests include dermatology, internal medicine, and animal behavior. Dr. Belton is passionate about client education and looks forward to serving the Charlotte and Greater Charlotte area.

Dr. Morgan Lewis

Dr. Morgan Lewis grew up in Topeka, Kansas. She fell in love with companion/exotic medicine while pursuing a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. After graduating in 2017, she returned to the Midwest to pursue a doctorate in veterinary medicine with Kansas State University and later graduated in 2022. Dr. Lewis packed up her small zoo consisting of two dogs (Maeve and Goose), two cats (Teddy and Nadja), and three ball pythons (Felix, Anat, and Noodle) along with 60 houseplants and moved back to the Tar Heel State to practice as a small animal and exotic veterinarian. Her veterinary interests include dermatology, dentistry, and surgery. In her free time, Dr. Lewis enjoys indulging her hobbies of gardening, painting, and enjoying the outdoors.

Dr. Patrick Morrison

Dr. Morrison was born in frigid Michigan, but grew up along the East Coast in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He returned to the cold to study at the University of Michigan (GO BLUE!) where he received an undergraduate degree in Biology before attending Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduating as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Before moving to Charlotte in August 2018, he was practicing in Northern Virginia seeing primarily exotic animals; reptiles, rabbits, guinea pigs, "pocket pets", birds, etc. His other veterinary interests include preventive medicine, surgery, and pain management. In his free time, when he is not basking in the sun with his pet bearded dragon, Gru, you can typically find him hiking a trail or taking in a baseball game. Dr. Morrison is a member of the American and North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association, the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians, and the Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians.

Dr. Sarah Krieg

Dr. Sarah Krieg grew up on her family's dairy named Mecklenburg Farm in Jacksonville, Florida. She graduated from the University of North Florida in 2013 with a Bachelor's of Science degree and minors in art history and environmental science. She then spent two years off from school working various jobs including being a Starbucks barista, kennel technician, veterinary assistant, waitress, and a Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission intern. She also embarked on a road trip across the United States and Germany during this time to explore and learn more about veterinary medicine. Dr. Krieg traveled to China in 2016 after her first year in veterinary school to begin her training in acupuncture through the Chi Institute. She graduated from the University of Florida's College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2019 and moved up to Charlotte, NC with her dog Aberdeen and cat Tiger Lily. Dr. Krieg is a Fear Free Certified veterinarian that is especially interested in behavior, acupuncture, preventative medicine, physical therapy, and pain management. In her free time she enjoys just about any kind of outdoor adventure, but especially rock climbing and slacklining.
