BLACKFOX

Blackfox is located in Northern Colorado, and has been around in one form or another since 1992. It was founded by James Hepp. The company has been known under the following names: The Blackfox Group, LLC, QUVE, LLC and Spirit-West, LLC. We recently went back to our roots, renaming the company Blackfox, LLC... Originally, the company owned and invested in startups and early-stage companies. We functioned as an angel investment/venture capital firm from 1992 until 2000. Since then, our philosophies have shifted and we have been transforming into a holding company... On the occasion we do seek to invest in new enterprises, we invest only when specific criteria are met. We follow broad operating principles that influence all our investment decisions. Investment and capital allocation decisions for Blackfox and it's majority controlled subsidiaries are made by Brian Hepp and/or James Hepp.
