The Rotary Club of Cambridge was founded on November 19, 1919 and chartered by Rotary International on January 1, 1920. It is one of over 35,000 Rotary clubs in over 200 countries and territories with over 1.2 million members. The Club is part of Rotary District 6690, which includes central and southeastern Ohio... I became a Rotarian so I can give back to my community. Giving back is not always doling out money to every hand asking, but also giving your time to a great cause or two or five. Some of the most rewarding things we do as Rotarians is give our time. I love being able to help the Salvation Army hand out lunches during the Summer Sack Lunch Program, or meals and presents at Christmas time. We also hand out tree saplings in the elementary schools and if we have extra, we hand them out to the community around Arbor Day! These are just a few things that keep us busy...
