CANNONS OF JAX

Cannons of Jax, formerly known as Cannon Welding, has been a small family business staple in the Jacksonville area since 1950. Cannon Welding was originally located on University Blvd and was owned by Earnest Cannon. Bo Phillips, Earnest's nephew took ownership of Cannons in 1969 and moved the business to its current location on Richard Street. Bo started out with a small 24' x 36' steel building as his welding fabrication shop. His welding fabrication skills led him to fabricate anything from large steel buildings to custom trailer hitches. As his business grew, he discovered the value in the trailer hitch business and partnered with draw-tite a hitch distributer to stock, sell, and install trailer hitches. He expanded the size of his shop to what it is today, including seven bays for servicing and installing trailer hitches, 5 th wheel and gooseneck hitches, towbars/baseplates, custom truck racks, major trailer repairs, and so much more...
