FEMI AGUNBIADE

Femi is a seasoned litigator with a vast knowledge and appreciation of the corporate commercial sector and regularly provides advisory services in the banking & finance as well as the mining sector in Nigeria, South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe. His areas of expertise include franchising, corporate restructuring, licensing of telecommunication companies in Nigeria, and providing legal advice to financial institutions, including the Central Bank of Nigeria on legal issues arising from the bailout of distressed banks. He was actively involved in the review of obsolete guidelines, banking statutes and the consolidation of Central Bank of Nigeria's subsidiary legislations. He was also a member of the SEC/CBN Joint Taskforce on the Intervened banks and advised on formulating a regulatory landscape to secure the integrity of the Nigerian stock market and he was actively involved in the drafting and implementation of the Asset Management Company of Nigeria Act, 2010. Specifically, Femi strategically advised the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in relation to issues arising from the banks' consolidation in Nigeria by: Reviewing and harmonizing the regulatory landscape for mergers and acquisition activities by banks in Nigeria

HENRY BOLARINWA WILLIAMS

Henry supervises the Dispute Resolution department of the firm. He specializes in general civil litigation, commercial arbitration, criminal matters and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. He is able to provide clients with time and cost-effective solutions to complex legal problems. He is known as a one stop shop in legal advisory and representation services. He was on the team that drafted a Bill for an Act to provide for the establishment of the Department for Outdoor Advertising and Signage (DOAS) for the purpose of regulating outdoor structures for the display of signage and advertisement in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and for connected purposes including the guidelines and the incidental laws. He obtained his Bachelor's degree from the University of Lagos, Lagos. He possesses a Master's degree in law from the University of Hull, United Kingdom where he specialized in Public International Law, International Commercial Arbitration, International Business Transactions, Carriage of Goods by Sea, Transnational Commercial Law and Medicine Ethics and Law. He was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2006 and upon his call, he worked with Rickey Tarfa & Co in Lagos, Nigeria and Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM). He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).
