Christopher Turner grew up in Manhattan, Kansas. After graduating from Kansas State University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree, Dr. Turner moved to Memphis, Tennessee, to attend Southern College of Optometry, graduating in May 2000.
Dr. Turner is one of a select few optometrists in the area with eye surgery pre-operative and post-operative care experience. Having worked in a variety of ophthalmology settings, his skill and dedication are an asset to Clear Advantage Vision Correction Center.
Dr. Dwight Arvidson is a Portsmouth eye doctor who joined Eyesight after spending many years as the Sole Proprietor at Eye Contact Unlimited, where he specialized in primary eyecare, routine ocular disease management and difficult contact lens fits.
Dr. Arvidson brings a substantial amount of primary eyecare to the patients at Eyesight in both our Portsmouth and Somersworth location. He also has extensive experience in pre-operative and post operative refractive care and shares his time working with Eyesight's sister company, Clear Advantage Vision Correction Center offering follow up care for LASIK, PRK, Crosslinking and EVO ICL (implantable collamer lens) patients.
Dr. Arvidson resides in Portsmouth with his wife and children, and enjoys fishing.

Dr. Ling is a fellowship trained specialist in Cornea and External Diseases. She specializes in cutting-edge partial-thickness (DMEK, DSAEK) and full-thickness cornea transplants (PKP), premium cataract surgery, implantable collamer lenses, and LASIK. She also has expertise in treating Fuchs dystrophy, keratoconus (including collagen cross-linking), infectious corneal ulcers, dry eye syndrome, and neurotrophic keratitis.
Prior to joining Eyesight Ophthalmic Services and Clear Advantage Vision Correction Center, Dr. Ling was a faculty member at the renowned University of Iowa, ranked #7 nationally in the field of ophthalmology. Being at a tertiary referral center allowed her to gain experience managing the most complex ocular conditions. She is proud to have helped train the next generation of ophthalmologists. She is now happy to be relocating to New England for family reasons.
In her spare time, Dr. Ling enjoys spending time with her husband and 1-year-old daughter. They love to eat, hike, and go whale watching.

Dr. Lauren McLoughlin grew up in Brooklyn, New York and graduated from Brooklyn College in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
After graduating from SUNY College of Optometry in 1997, Dr. McLoughlin completed her residency in ocular disease and primary care at the V.A. Medical Center in Willmington, Delaware in 1998.
In addition to her training and experience in pre-operative and post-operative LASIK care, which includes the revolutionary EVO Toric and EVO ICL (implantable collamer lens), Dr. McLoughlin has practiced in a variety of optometric and ophthalmologic settings and has owned two optometric practices in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

A trained ophthalmologist, corneal specialist, and one of the most experienced LASIK eye surgery specialists in the region, performing over 30,000 LASIK procedures. Dr. Peters was one of the first doctors to perform the Visian ICL (implantable collamer lens) and was one of the first surgeons in New England to be credentialed to implant the newest versions of the Visian ICL - the EVO Toric and EVO ICL.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Peters is a medical consultant for Bausch & Lomb and is frequently asked to participate in national events to educate and train other eye surgeons.
Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Dr. Peters attended and graduated with honors from the University of California at Davis, and obtained his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Peters' extensive post-graduate training included an internship at the University of Hawaii and a residency at the University of California at Irvine.
In addition, Dr. Peters also trained at the renowned Gimbel Eye Centre in Calgary, Alberta, attaining his fellowship in Refractive and Anterior Segment Surgery.
A widely published author and editor of multiple textbooks on LASIK and Wavefront LASIK technology, Dr. Peters has published multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals and has appeared as a guest lecturer at a variety of national ophthalmic conferences.
Serving as the only clinical consultant in New England for Bausch & Lomb, Dr. Peters has had the distinct privilege of being privy to some of the most advanced, up-to-date and cutting edge medical technology available worldwide.
A current fellow at the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Dr. Peters is also a member of the International Society of Refractive Surgeons, European Society of Cataract and Refractive, and the New Hampshire Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
Because of his extensive knowledge in treating various types of astigmatism, Technolas Perfect Vision awarded Dr. Peters a Certificate of Recognition, and in 2011 Clear Advantage received a distinguished award as a Specialized Astigmatism Center.
