Elizabeth Burns is responsible for overall firm operations including oversight of research related to alternative investment and investment banking recruitment projects.
Elizabeth joined The Denali Group from Whitehead Mann (formerly Pendleton James Associates) where she supported the firm's founder in establishing administration and control systems for this boutique financial services recruiting firm. She has over twenty years of experience in the recruiting industry
Jeffrey Marcks joined the Denali Group after a twenty plus year career in financial services.
Jeffrey has represented investment banks on various senior and mid- level recruitments in such areas as corporate finance and sponsor coverage, M&A, leveraged finance and risk management. He has also completed the recruitment of mid and senior level investment professionals for private equity, venture and growth funds. He has also completed various recruitment projects focused on Latin America.
Prior to beginning his career in search, he was a Managing Director of Risk Solutions for Swiss Re in New York. Before that he was a Managing Director at Chase Securities Inc. where he was responsible for originating capital markets and corporate finance business across several industry areas.
Jeffrey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Rutgers College, a Master of Hispanic Studies from the University of Barcelona and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from Fordham University.

John Pearson is a Managing Director and Senior Advisor to The Denali Group. Mr. Pearson has 17 years of senior experience in executive search in the financial services sector, across asset management, banking, leasing and investment banking. He has also completed recruiting assignments for financial officers in a wide variety of other industries.
Prior to serving as a Managing Director at Korn/Ferry International, Mr. Pearson co-founded Pearson, Caldwell and Farnsworth, a boutique search firm that was acquired by Korn/Ferry in 1999. His earlier experience includes Price Waterhouse & Co. and various senior management positions at Bank of California. He is an alumnus of California State University, Sacramento, and the Graduate School of Credit and Financial Management at the Amos Tuck School, Dartmouth.
