Denise is a graduate of North Central State College. She entered the insurance business in 1989 as a Customer Service Representative at the Hugh Place/Tom Bush Insurance Agency in Galion, OH. She took her five years of agency experience and later joined the Shelby Insurance Group, where she was a Personal Lines Underwriter, with responsibility for the states of Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Rhode Island. Denise holds the Associate in Personal Insurance (API) designation, the Associate in General Insurance (AINS) designation as well as the Associate in Insurance Services (AIS) designation. In 2014 she was the recipient of the volunteer of the year award, presented by the Galion-Crestline Area Chamber of Commerce.
Denise is responsible for all aspects of personal insurance sales and service for the Galion and Powell locations.
Denise is a lifelong Galion resident. She enjoys boating, traveling, and spending time at the beach with her friends and family. She also enjoys reading and cheering on the Ohio State buckeyes during football season.
Janet has been with the agency since 1991 and is licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance. She received her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation on 1997. Janet handles all aspects of Commercial Lines accounts including Farm accounts.
Janet graduated from Hocking College with a degree in Computer Science. She is a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Marion and is active in the Parish School of Religion (PSR). She and her husband, Randy, have a son, a daughter and two dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, baking, and reading.

Jeff is a graduate of Ashland University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. He began his insurance career in 1981 as a Personal Lines Underwriter at United Ohio Insurance Company. Over the next 20 years, Jeff built a successful career as an Insurance Company Executive. He held key executive management roles at Shelby Insurance Group, GRE Insurance Group, and GoAmerica Auto Insurance - a Liberty Mutual Group company. Jeff returned to his hometown to form his own agency in 2001.
Jeff holds the prestigious Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. He is also a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC). Jeff has completed the Leadership Development Program at the Center for Creative Leadership in Colorado Springs, CO.
Jeff is a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Shelby Memorial Hospital Foundation Board of Directors, Charity Newsies, and is a volunteer with Team Focus.
In addition to business and community involvement, he also enjoys traveling and golfing with family and friends. He and his wife Laurie have three children; Erin, Jennifer, and Logan, and two grandchildren; Kendall & Rowan.
