Cheryl Ecton founded Elite in 1989 and was the company's first employee. She built Elite based on two enduring principles: quality and responsiveness. Cheryl found success through the motto, "If better is possible, then good is not enough." Over the past three-plus decades, Cheryl has transformed Elite into one of the largest women-owned businesses in the Mid-Atlantic region. Today, Elite employs over 700 workers who handle all commercial property maintenance and cleaning aspects. We help our customers offer clean, healthy, and safe work environments for their employees and tenants. Cheryl Ecton is the founder and CEO of Elite Building Services. She founded Elite in 1989 and used her motto of "If better is possible, then good is not enough" to build its success as one of the largest women-owned businesses in the Mid-Atlantic. The Women's Business Enterprise and the Office of Minority and Women Business Enterprise even named Elite a certified woman-owned business.
