Abhijit Purkayastha - CEO, President

Abhijit, a senior IT professional with over 34 years of experience, has spearheaded SAP and IT outsourcing practices in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, India, and South Africa. He has developed methodologies based on best practices for SAP implementation, application management, software development, and IT infrastructure outsourcing. Some of the standards and methodologies he has worked with include ValueSAP, RunSAP, ITIL, and CMMi (Level-5). Abhijit has experience with Fortune 1,000 firms and SMEs across several industries including manufacturing, life sciences, utilities, media, retail, engineering, construction, and consumer products. He also has worked closely with SAP America, SAP India, and SAP AG. His expertise enables best-in-class SAP based solutions in short time frames and with optimum Total Cost of Ownership. Abhijit holds a Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical & Electronics) and has worked for various organizations involved in custom hardware and software design, global solution rollouts, and support. Before becoming a co-founder of Element Five Solutions, Abhijit was with Siemens as Vice President, SAP Sales.

Harish B. Rau - COO, EVP

Harish is a founding partner of Element Five Solutions and brings over two decades of software industry experience to the company. As a software engineer, Harish started his career in product sales and marketing and subsequently moved into consulting, where he has been involved with SAP ERP sales, marketing, and consulting for over 20 years. In the late 1990s Harish was instrumental in some of the earliest sales of SAP ERP licenses as well as project implementation services in the Indian marketplace. In 2000 he started an independent consulting practice and has personally led several large SAP implementations with multinational rollouts across North America, Europe, and Asia. Harish has a clear understanding of business processes and hands-on knowledge of software application systems. This unique combination gives him an insightful perspective for designing efficient solutions and helping clients maximize return on investment for their ERP systems. Harish has a Bachelors of Engineering (Computers) from University of Bombay and an M.B.A. from Georgia State University. He also is an accredited Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.

Srini Sathyamurthy

Srini has over 19 years of professional experience in sales, software design, development, and deployment with various business applications, including over 17 years on SAP. He has deployed SAP, CRM, and BI solutions for several industries including life sciences, consumer products, and retail, and has served in multiple leadership roles including lead Program/Project Manager for CRM and BI projects across the globe. Additionally, Srini provides technology assessments and business process road maps for a wide range of companies. Srini has a Bachelors of Engineering (EEE) from the University of Madurai and holds Masters in Management of Technology from the University of Minnesota with emphases in Technology Strategy, Marketing, and Operations.
