The company GIB Dresden mbH was founded in 1990 and positioned itself on the market with CAD services and NC programming for tool, model and mould making. The development of CAM software started in parallel. GIBcam Software was presented at the fairs MEBA Leipzig 1992 and EMO Hannover 1993... The permanent staff is employed in the company headquarters in Dresden. In addition, sales partners are working for GIB. GIB works in cooperation with institutes, colleges and technical universities. Within the scope of this cooperation, students are supported and final theses are supervised... GIBcam is a powerful CAD and CAM software for NC programming which supports milling from 2.5D to 5-axis simultaneous, drilling, deep drilling, turning and engraving.
