Karen Chavez

Karen is newly graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor's of Art in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She is currently working towards applying to graduate schools for MHA and hopes to eventually work as a healthcare administrator. She is the oldest of three children and loves spending time with her sisters whether it is a quick trip to the store or spending the day by the pool. Karen has a family including her fiancé, their son, and two dogs. Her hobbies include art work such as pencil sketching, reading a good book, and exploring new places around DFW to hike. Karen is excited to start this new chapter in her life where she is given the opportunity to grow and learn the skills needed for her future career. She has always been interested in the healthcare field and feels that creating a welcoming environment for those that are seeking help is just as important as ensuring the office runs smoothly.

Kourtney Sinclair is the Marketing and Communications Manager at Heritage Counseling & Consulting. Prior to joining the Heritage team, she has worked in the public relations and digital marketing space for over 8 years at both in-house and agency roles. Kourtney loves to use data to inform strategy and find new creative ways to spread brand awareness and interest. Kourtney lives in Lakewood with her husband Denver, and their dog Murphy, and they are members of Highland Park Presbyterian Church. While she is not working she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Madeline Kujawski

Madeline is originally from New Orleans, LA but grew up in Beaumont, TX where she completed her B.S. in Psychology and minor in Social Work at Lamar University. She joined the Delta Beta chapter of Alpha Delta Pi sorority and served in multiple Executive Board positions, including Chapter President. After graduation, Madeline moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area to work on her MSW at UT-Arlington, concentrating on Mental Health and Substance Abuse. During her studies at UT-A, Madeline interned for a pregnancy and postpartum intervention program to educate and provide assistance to new mothers from low income households in the DFW area, with the goal of intervening in opioid use during pregnancy and preventing neonatal abstinence syndrome. Madeline also taught CPS mandated parenting classes to mothers struggling with substance abuse and striving for reunification with their children. Her operational role at Heritage allows her to be part of innovative evidence-based therapeutic practices in the mental health field. Madeline is excited to be working in an environment centered on helping people in need, which is her passion in life. Madeline is an only child and is close with her family, despite the distance. In her free time, she enjoys practicing Krav Maga and spending time exploring the city.
