Amy Norton dv

Amy is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ and currently serves as the Associate Pastor at The United Parish in Brookline. Amy attended seminary at Harvard Divinity School and graduated with an M.Div, with a focus in economics and Christian ethics. Prior to HDS, she attended Tufts University where she received her BA in French, sang in the Tufts Amalgamates, and played on the Tufts Women's Rugby Team. During seminary, Amy also served as a hospital chaplain and worked for the Edinburgh Interfaith Association in Edinburgh, Scotland. Amy has been a member of the Club since 2014, and co-chairs the Young Member Committee. Board since 2018.

Andy Freed

He serves on several area Boards with a particular focus on the health care space. He was a four- year letter winner and Captain at Harvard and remains very involved in Harvard Athletics, having served as Chair of the Harvard Varsity Club, an organization dedicating to supporting the nation's largest intercollegiate athletics program. Notable projects include the Harvard Smith Campus Center and renovations to the Harvard Lowell and Winthrop Houses. Anthony's philanthropic and community efforts include his role on the board of directors of the Consigli Foundation, the Milford Regional Medical Center Foundation and the Norman Rockwell Museum. Charles F Cornish

Charles F Cornish (Charlie) is an Assurance Senior Manager at PwC Boston serving Asset Management clients. Charlie grew up in Carlisle, MA, attended the Brooks School in North Andover (class of 2006) before attending Lehigh University for college (class of 2010). Charlie was formally introduced to the club by his cousin John Cornish and joined the Club as a legacy member in the fall of 2010, following in the footsteps of his grandfather John Cornish. John was a singles and doubles squash champion of the Harvard Club many times. Charlie also plays squash at the club and serves on the club's House Committee as well as Audit Committee. Charlie and his husband John have a son, Parker (born Sept 2017) and a daughter, Olivia (born July 2019) and live in Sudbury, Massachusetts. Member since 2010, Board since 2019.

Courtney L. Jacobovits

Courtney L. Jacobovits has been a member of the Harvard Club of Boston since 2017. She has served on the House, Member Engagement, Author Series, and Boston's Most Influential Women planning committees. Courtney and her husband co-led the Club's first Passover Seder in 2018. Professionally, Courtney has served the City of Boston as the Director of Planning and as a Senior Urban Planner with the Boston Planning and Development. She began her career as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco. She is on the board of the Boston Society of Architects/AIA and an advisor to Arts Connect International and the Northeastern School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs. She received her bachelor's degree from Northwestern University (2009), her master's from the Harvard Graduate School of Design (2016) and her MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management, Class of 2022. Dr. Elizabeth A. Micci

Elizabeth designs and implements new education strategies and structures for public and private schools in the U.S. and internationally. As part of her doctoral research at Harvard, she led the secondary school redesign at The Harbour School, an innovative international institution in Hong Kong. She successfully managed this advanced program for two years after completing her degree. Prior to that, she co-founded and administered an academy within the César E. Chávez public high school in southeast Houston. The Chávez Prep academy prepared students to gain acceptance to major universities and excel. Presently, Elizabeth is a Managing Director at Citizen Schools, a national nonprofit that provides 21st century pedagogical models and training to public school teachers. Elizabeth holds a Doctor of Education Leadership from Harvard, a MA in English Literature from Middlebury College, and a BA in Business Administration and English Literature from Washington and Lee University. She currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Harbour School of Hong Kong, the Parish Council at Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Newton, the Board of Directors for the Belmont Dramatic Club, and is a lifelong figure skater. Dr. Juan J. Carmona

Dr. Juan J. Carmona, g'10, ph'10, ph'14, m'16, is an accomplished biomedical scientist and medical affairs professional with over a decade of experience leading senior cross-functional teams at top-tier institutions across industry, academia, clinical institutes, and hospitals. He has made significant contributions to various disease and therapeutic areas, including oncology and infectious disease. Dr. Carmona completed his scientific education and training at Harvard University, earning a PhD in cell and developmental biology, a Master of Public Health in family and community health, and a Master of Bioethics with a focus on the ethics of genomic data in industry and healthcare. He was awarded the prestigious Alonzo Smythe Yerby Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Chan School, where he later became an independent NIH-funded Visiting Scientist. Throughout his career, Dr. Carmona has excelled in various roles. At the Brigham and Women's Multi-Regional Clinical Trials Center, he specialized in data ethics and tailored clinical study designs in collaboration with pharmaceutical and biotechnology leaders. At Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, he managed clinical study compliance and the licensing of intellectual property in partnership with startups related to the institute. At Philips Research North America, he contributed to award-winning work in new product development, research and business development, competitive intelligence, and operational risk management. Currently, Dr. Carmona serves as the founding Director of Scientific Affairs and Professional Alliances at OraSure Technologies, Inc., a world leader in point-of-care and at-home diagnostic testing, as well as non-invasive self-sampling technologies and microbiome-related solutions. In this role, he oversees scientific and clinical affairs, key opinion leader (KOL) engagement, scientific evidence generation and dissemination, and clinical research roadmap and compliance management. In addition to his professional achievements, Dr. Carmona has been an active member of the Harvard Club of Boston since 2003. He has served on several committees and task forces, including the House Committee (2020-Pres.), Fine Arts Committee (2020-Pres.), Committee to Affirm Respect and Equity Standards (CARES) (2020-Pres.), Facility Planning Committee (2019-Pres.), Member Engagement Committee (2018-2020), and the Membership & Marketing Committee (2016-2017). Jan Saragoni

Jan is President of Saragoni & Company, a Boston-based communications consultancy specializing in media relations, crisis communications and issues management. Active in a variety of educational and non-profit organizations, Jan is Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees of the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and sits on the editorial advisory board of the Kennedy School of Government Magazine as well as the advisory board of the Boston Public Market. She has served on the boards of the Massachusetts Convention Authority, the Massachusetts State Lottery Commission, the Massachusetts Women's Political Caucus and the Executive Committee of Save Venice, Boston chapter. Before launching her firm in 1996, Jan was director of marketing for the Hynes Convention Center, director of communications for the Massachusetts Department of Public Works and an assistant press secretary in the Mayor's Office of Communications, City of Boston. Jill McGrath

Jillian grew up playing squash at the Club and was excited to continue the tradition when she moved back to Boston in 2009 and became a member. As captain, she led the Women's 2.5/3.5 team to victory as league champions in 2015. Jillian is active in Boston's nonprofit community and serves on several boards. He currently serves as a Managing Director of a venture debt investment management company and as Chief Commercial Officer of a precision health care company focused on treating and developing cures for patients suffering from rare diseases. Martin's professional history includes serving on the boards of numerous developing/growing companies. Over a span of fifteen years, Martin served as the Chair of multiple municipal boards in the Town of Swampscott, Massachusetts. Martin's Harvard volunteer journey includes serving on each of his quinquennial Harvard College reunion committees (including as Co-Chair of the 25th Reunion Committee) as well as a long tenure on the Harvard Alumni Association Board of Directors, culminating in his service as President in 2016-2017. He also serves on the Harvard endowment Advisory Committee on Shareholder Responsibility. A longtime member of the Harvard community, Sarah Karmon became Associate Vice President and Executive Director of the HAA in January 2023, after serving for four years as the HAA's deputy executive director. In that role, she oversaw all operational aspects of the HAA, working with colleagues from across the Schools and central administration in support of Harvard's 400,000-plus alumni around the world. As Associate Vice President and Executive Director, Karmon is responsible for the strategic direction of the HAA and leads a network of more than 17,500 alumni volunteers. She is tasked with leading the engagement and stewardship of an inclusive, University-wide alumni community, supporting the evolution of a global network and introducing new ways to connect alumni through technology. As part of this work, Karmon oversees the HAA's extensive programming and engagement initiatives and events, including Harvard Alumni Day and College reunions, as well as leading staff who support the many Harvard Clubs, shared interest groups, lifelong learning programs, online services, and worldwide alumni events. Karmon joined the HAA as the Senior Director of University-wide Affairs in August 2016. She also served as Special Assistant to the Presidential Search which resulted in the appointment of Larry Bacow as Harvard's 29 th President in February 2018. Prior to joining the HAA, Karmon worked for four years as the Chief of Staff in the Office of the Provost at Harvard University. She began her career at Harvard in 1999 in the University Development Office and is a graduate of Vassar College. Club member since 2023; Board since 2023.

Susan Kendall
