THE WIRELESS INDUSTRY In recent years we have witnessed a growing need and demand for mobile communication devices. Market experts predict that this trend will continue in the coming years. Technology is constantly improving; devices are getting smaller and more sophisticated. Although consumers have enthusiastically embraced these improvements, it is clear that those devices are excellent at retrieving information but are very limited in their input capabilities. This deficiency has caused some users to take, only partial, advantage of their PDA and has deterred other potential users from using PDA's altogether. Most portable communication devices are equipped with a virtual keyboard (eg. PDAs) or a small screen and a small keypad (eg. cell phones). These options are neither intuitive nor easy to operate when one tries to send e-mail's, enter an appointment etc.
