Charles Kaupke

Born and raised here in Orange County, Charles Kaupke joined Jafari Law Group in October 2018 as a paralegal in the firm's employment litigation department. Charles is involved in all phases of the employment litigation process, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, filing motions, and preparing for trial.

David Vedad Jafari

David Jafari has had an unmistakable passion for representing the underdog and he has satisfied that passion by accepting contingency representation of employees fired or mistreated at their jobs because they were harassed sexually or otherwise such as because of their disability, retaliated against because they had reported the employer's unlawful conduct, i.e., whistleblower litigation, discriminated against because of their race, sexual orientation, disability, national origin, or religion or had been victims of wage theft by an employer who violated wage orders and labor laws such as overtime, meal and rest break violations, etc. For the last 10 years, David Jafari has litigated, and arbitrated employment cases against such fortune 500 companies such as Walmart, UPS, Rockwell International, General Atomics, Unger Fabrics, Aztech Engineering, Kohl's, Vons, BMW of North America, McDonalds, Burger King, Seasons Hospice, and many more collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars in settlement for his clients' cases. In this endeavor, David Jafari has faced off fearlessly with many of this country's largest and most powerful labor law firms such as Fisher & Phillips, Sheppard Mullin, Ogletree Deakins, Seyfarth Shaw, Littler, Jackson Lewis, Mintz Levin, and many more less known firms. David Jafari is also an immigrant. He arrived in the United States in 1978 and attended George Washington University. He completed his B.S. and Masters degree in electrical engineering and completed his course work towards his PhD. He worked for Gould Electronics in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and was the founder of several start-ups the most successful of which LaserShip became a multi million dollar shipping and logistics enterprise in the east coast. David Jafari also conducts meditations for IVAMS, and is a panel fee arbitrator for the Orange County Bar. He is also an adjunct professor of law teaching Intellectual property law at his alma mater Western State University, College of Law. He has been married for over 25 years, has two children, and in his spare time, he likes to run, cook, and write poetry!

Eli Hamblet

Eli is highly experienced with a diverse professional background that in addition to his background as an attorney includes experience as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). With his unique blend of legal and business expertise, Eli has been able to provide his clients with practical and effective legal solutions that meet their needs. As a former CFO, Eli has a keen understanding of the financial and operational challenges that businesses face. He has a proven track record of success in transforming small startups into thriving enterprises. This experience has given him invaluable insight into the legal issues that entrepreneurs and business owners encounter, and he is able to provide sound legal advice that takes into account the financial and operational realities of running a business. As an employment attorney Eli can work to protect your rights whether you are a Employee or Employer because he is not only a highly qualified attorney but also because he has experience as an employer and knows the issues that employers face on a daily basis. Gene Rodriguez

BIO Gene Rodriguez is Of Counsel to Jafari Law Group. He is an Attorney licensed in California and is registered as a Patent Attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Gene has a strong background in intellectual property law, copyright litigation, patent law, as well as general litigation. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Western State University, College of Law, where he was President of the Student Intellectual Property Law Association. Gene received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from the United States Military Academy, West Point, NY. His technical experience includes semiconductor manufacturing and assembly technologies, monolithic and hybrid integrated circuits design, microwave and radiofrequency electronic components, electro-mechanical engineering, aircraft control technology, forward-looking infrared technology, and optics applications. His community service includes performing pro bono adoptions for the Los Angeles County Adoption Project and volunteer work on the Measure M Citizen's Oversight Committee and the Citizen Advisory Committee to the Orange County Transportation Authority. Gene is a former Captain in the U.S. Army and is married and has two daughters.

Randy Fenton

BIO Randy Fenton is a registered Patent Agent specializing in all matters regarding the US and foreign patent prosecution, including preparing patent applications, preparing responses to office actions, conducting examiner interviews, conducting prior art searches, and evaluating search results. Mr. Fenton's areas of technical expertise include: Electronics, RF/Microwave, Software Systems, Backend, and Frontend Computer Systems, Mobile Applications, Solar, Medical Devices, Stem Cell, Drones, Data Processing Systems, Machine Learning, Complex Mechanical Devices and Systems, Lighting/LED Devices and Systems, Complex Water Display Components and Systems, Control Systems, Food Packaging, Cannabis, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality. Setareh Cici Karim

Cici founded and managed her own business for over 20 years prior to joining Jafari Law Group. She is an artist at heart but appreciates the importance of administering various aspects of running a well-oiled machine. She has extensive experience in bookkeeping and accounting and manages the firm's accounting, state and federal taxes, human resources and regulatory compliance matters. She is the glue that keeps the office together. Cici is an avid spinner, loves flowers, painting, and cooking. She is married with two kids, and as team mom has attended more than 500 of her son's basketball games in middle school, and high school.

Zaher Fallahi

Zaher Fallahi, Attorney At Law, CPA, has extensive experience in tax law and controversy. Zaher Fallahi has earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Master of Science in Accounting, Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Juris Doctor (JD), and is admitted to the California Bar Association. Before establishing his own firm, Mr. Fallahi worked in private industry, major professional firms and a large government agency. He has closely associated with other tax and estate planning attorneys since 1992. Zaher Fallahi advises Persian-American clients on the US Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Regulations regarding Iran from both legal and tax viewpoint. He has a radio talk show in Farsi in Los Angeles on this matter. Mr. Fallahi testifies before the court on tax issues and advises clients on tax-advantageous settlement agreements within the provisions of the Internal Revenue Code. And, assists the winning parties with taxability of their settlement and awards, and the losing parties with tax deductibility of their judgment and legal fees. He has offices in Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
