John-Michael Wolk is the President and Owner of The J.M.W. Entertainment Group, LLC. John's love for Entertainment, Music, and Entrepreneurial work gave him the inspiration to start this business. In fact, this inspiration came early on, as John started with small beginnings, playing music at a fair for his elementary school. He quickly realized that the field was for him. After beginning Middle School, he attended a local dance, called "The Grapevine", watching the DJ's and observing what to play, and when and how to do it. John then confronted the organizers of the event and was soon DJing the dances there himself. John DJ'ed his first event at the age of only 11 years old. At age 14 he was working high school dances and at age 16 he was working venues such as Hotel DuPont, Crozer Hospital & the Springfield Mall. At age 19 John's accounts continued to grow including: Avon, BJ's Wholesale Club & Harry's Savoy Bar & Grill and many more. Over the years, he has successfully guided The J.M.W. Entertainment group to the prominent position in the region that it holds today. John's company has entertained over 250,000 people since 1996, and we are still counting. Today, His business is registered as a sole-proprietor in the state of Pennsylvania, with a full DJ staff, Sound Technicians and Sales Reps. John then went on and attended Neumann College in Aston, PA, where he dually majored in Business Administration & CIM (Computer Information Management). While at Neumann College, he was an avid member of the Student Activities Board, Student Life, Business Club President, member of the Jazz Band and enrolled in a leadership certificate program. He plans on continuing on with his education in a Masters program to hopefully receive a Masters of Business Administration
