K-B TOOL & DIE

K-B Tool & Die was founded by Alan G. Klinger in 1977. Alan is a U.S. Army Veteran that served with the 101st Airborne out of Fort Campbell, Kentucky from 1966-1968. Before entering the service he began his tool and die career in 1964 with Ultra Tool & Die in Warren, Michigan. In 1969 he entered into a wood patternmaker's apprenticeship at General Motors. In 1972, General Motors closed their Fisher Body Plant No.21 where Alan worked. He then went back into the tool and die trade until he opened his own tool and die manufacturing company. Along with numerous drafting, math, and technical classes during his apprenticeship at General Motors, he was also able to complete a degree in Industrial Supervision and Management in May of 1977...
