LAURIE CHAPMAN

I have provided therapy and consultation services for the past 24 years. My client base includes individuals, couples, families, athletes, and non-profit corporations. In my role as a licensed therapist, I have developed specific expertise in the following areas: trauma, addiction, mood disorders, women's issues, performance enhancement, couples in transition, grief and loss, and stress-management. My athletic base includes working with nationally ranked competitors in the following sports:equestrian, long distance running, track and field, figure skating, and cycling. I am currently an EMDR consultant, and have extensive training in the Trauma Resiliency Model, and Strategic and Solution-focused therapeutic interventions... I graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles with a degree in psychology and a minor in business and have a Master's Degree in the Science of Counseling from San Diego State University.
