Roger J Leslie is an EAGLE member, representing plaintiffs in nursing home negligence and medical negligence cases at the Law Office of Roger J Leslie. He is of counsel to Chemnick Moen Greenstreet and Chair of the WSAJ Nursing Home Litigation Section. Roger J. Leslie represents people who have been injured because another person or corporation failed to exercise reasonable care. Mr. Leslie's practice includes cases involving medical negligence, nursing home negligence, and other personal injury cases. Mr. Leslie is admitted to practice in Washington State Court and before both the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington in the United States Federal Court. He is an Eagle member of the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ) and a member of the American Association for Justice (AAJ). Mr. Leslie has worked in the past in accident analysis at the Colorado State Highway Department and in biomedical research. As a research scientist, Mr. Leslie received his Ph.D. from the University of Oregon in Biology. He was a fellow of the National Institutes of Health and an assistant professor in the Section of Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of California, Davis. He received his J.D. from Seattle University. The Law Office of Roger J. Leslie works for plaintiffs (individuals who bring a lawsuit for injuries caused by the negligence of others) in the areas of nursing home negligence, medical negligence, and wrongful death. Mr. Leslie was the Chair of the Nursing Home Litigation and Elder Care Section of the Washington State Association of Justice (WSAJ) from 2011 to 2014 and 2019 to the present. Mr. Leslie has authored numerous research articles in science and the law. He was a contributing author to a college textbook in biology. He is the editor of the First and Second editions of the Washington Nursing Home Litigation Deskbook. He has presented several webinars and authored publications regarding the federal statutes and regulations that provide patients the right to obtain their medical records at low or no-cost.
