Dennis E. Dean

Dennis Dean, President of Four Star Construction Co., an affiliate of MAS Companies, has over 30 years of experience in the construction and development of commercial real estate. His experience includes supervising the construction of over 3 million square feet of real estate with cost in excess of over $1 billion. Through detailed and hands-on supervision of the construction process, he upholds MAS Companies' reputation for completing projects on time and on budget. Mr. Dean has a diverse background in all aspects of construction and design. Mr. Dean is a licensed CPM, a licensed contractor and a registered engineer. His civic and professional activities have included City of Belleair (Fla.) Code Enforcement Board, YWCA Board of Directors, member of the Clearwater, Florida Downtown Development Board, and Board of Direction of Belleair Country Club. Dennis and his wife have three grown children and reside in Clearwater, Florida.

Douglas M. Sheffield

Doug Sheffield is WealthStone's managing principal for insurance consulting and wealth transfer services and serves as president of the firm's insurance and employee benefits subsidiary, WealthStone Insurance Consultants. Doug has over 25 years of experience in the areas of employee benefits, executive compensation planning and estate and business continuation planning. Prior to joining the firm, Doug was a tax consultant with the national accounting firm of Deloitte and Touche. A Certified Public Accountant, Doug is a magna cum laude graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and received his law degree from The Ohio State University. Doug, his wife and two children reside in Dublin, Ohio.

Paul J. Breen

Paul Breen serves WealthStone as managing principal for tax consulting and compliance and partnership investment services. In those roles, Paul coordinates all tax planning and compliance services and oversees the management of the firm's real estate and oil and gas investments. Paul has over thirty years of experience as a tax professional and formerly served as tax manager with the national accounting firm of KPMG Peat Marwick. A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Paul is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Paul serves a variety of church and civic organizations including the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (Central Ohio Advisory Board). He resides in Worthington, Ohio with his wife and three children.

Rebecca S. Flowers

Rebecca Flowers, a Certified Public Accountant, joined MAS Companies as Controller in July of 1996. A graduate of The Ohio State University, she has been involved in the accounting field for over 25 years and is a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs. Prior to 1996, Ms. Flowers had been working with the MAS limited partnership entities for 15 years as the company's outside CPA. Thus, she brings a long history of experience in dealing with partnership tax returns and related issues.

Richard J. Whaley

Richard Whaley, Chairman of MAS Companies, has over 30 years of experience developing and acquiring real estate in twenty states. He is also experienced in management, as well as all forms of debt and equity structure. He serves as a general partner, principal officer of the corporate general partner or managing member of most of the partnerships or limited liability companies in which he is involved. Mr. Whaley proudly serves as the Investment Committee Chairman of the Orlando EB-5 Investment Group and is an advisor to the Sino American Investment Fund. He has been or is currently involved in a number of other professional and civic associations, including Founding Trustee, Dahlberg Center; Founding Member, Ohio State Advocates; Former Director, Affordable Housing Tax Credit Coalition; Board of Directors, National Housing and Rehabilitation Association; Founding Trustee, Atlantic Housing Foundation; Nightingale Home Care, Inc.(Alzheimer's); and FIABCI (International Real Estate Group, a UN Habitat Partner and ECOSOC associate). Rich and his wife Sharon have three grown children and reside on the Eastern shore of Maryland.

Robert W. McLaughlin

Robert W. McLaughlin, Member and Manager of MAS Investment Group LLC, has over 30 years of experience in real estate and banking. Mr. McLaughlin has a broad background in finance and development in both the private as well as the public sectors. During his career Mr. McLaughlin has served as a Regional President for U.S. Bank, as well as Senior Vice President and Real Estate Lending Manager for Huntington National Bank, and as head of the Downtown Development Office for the City of Columbus, Ohio. He has also previously served as Senior Vice President of MAS before joining the mayor of Columbus in leading the city's downtown revitalization effort. Mr. McLaughlin's wealth of experience also includes service as a retired Commander in the United States Naval Reserve. Mr. McLaughlin has been or is currently involved with a number of professional and civic organizations, including service on the Boards of Directors of the following: Columbus Next Generation Corporation (non-profit community development), Columbus Urban Growth Corporation, Experience Columbus (fka Greater Columbus Convention and Visitors Bureau), Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio, and Franklin County Lifecare alliance (fka Meals on Wheels).

Tom D. McVay

Tom McVay, a Principal of MAS Companies, has been active in real estate finance and development for over 45 years. During the time, he has had relationships with major capital institutions such as Met Life, Sun Life, SunAmerica, John Hancock, Bank of America, Key Bank, Prudential and Midland Life. His background also includes a broad spectrum of commercial and residential projects. During his career with MAS Mr. McVay has managed the financing of approximately $ billion in real estate development. In his capacity with MAS, he is responsible for overseeing all financial activity, including the development and supervision of all banking and capital market relationships. Mr. McVay is a member of the National Association of Review Appraisers and Mortgage Underwriters and is a Registered Mortgage Underwriter (RMU) and a Certified Review Appraiser Administrative (CRA). Tom and his wife have two grown children and reside in Belleair, Florida.
