Al Franzen joined the NTI team in 2014 and moved from Texas to Virginia to support our DC/Metro market. Bringing years of high-level management experience Al helped build our fast-growing Northern Virginia team while earning his RCDD and being promoted to our Director of Quality Assurance. Today he supports our quality and training initiatives in our offices across the US while being based out of Dallas, Texas. In Dallas, he also supports the operations and leadership functions of our local office.

Brent has 20+ years of engineering, management, real estate consulting, and business development experience in the telecommunications and fiber optic industries. He founded Precision Design Services (PDS), a telecom engineering company that performed site surveys, project management, engineering, testing/analysis and field inspection services. Brent and his team joined NTI in 2021 and in his current role as Area Director, he works to deliver unmatched service and value to customers in the New York City metro and beyond. Brent holds a degree in architecture and civil engineering from Lehigh University.

Lewis has over 25 years of proven leadership experience in the telecommunications, fiber, and broadcast industry, most recently at Crown Castle, where he served as Vice President and General Manager of Small Cells and Fiber solutions in the Northeast. Before that, he was the VP GM of Network Engineering and Operations at Sirius XM Radio and had responsibilities for the Satellites, Broadcast Operations, and Ground Systems. Lewis also held leadership positions at Nextel including the Regional VP of Field Operations for the Northeast as well as the Area VP of Engineering and Operations in NY. He holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University and an M.B.A. from Long Island University.

Mike Woodard joined the NTI team as a Project Manager in 2018 and moved from Illinois to Virginia to help with the rapid expansion of the DC market. Mike brings years of experience leading diverse teams and promoting operational excellence. Mike was instrumental in the lively growth of our technician base and improving client relations. Mike was promoted to Mid-Atlantic Area Director, supporting fiber and data center work throughout the region.

Ryan Kline joined the NTI team in early 2018 and brings with him nearly 17 years of experience in health and safety. His work history in the insurance, construction, and manufacturing environment gives him a well-rounded background in risk management and injury prevention. Using a systematic approach to program development, training, and risk avoidance, Ryan leads all aspects of environmental, health, and safety at NTI. Ryan has a B.S. in Occupational Health and Safety and is a graduate of Northern Illinois University.

Steve Barry has 20 years of experience in the low voltage technology industry. He started out as a technician before eventually progressing to vice president of the technology division for one of the largest electrical companies in the Chicagoland area. Steve joined NTI in 2016 to lead operations and moved west in 2017 to open our Denver office.
