Aaron joined NEA in 2011 and currently partners with founders innovating in AI/ML, developer tools, cloud/data/app infrastructure, cybersecurity, and robotics. Prior to joining NEA, Aaron spent two years in M&A advisory at Qatalyst Partners, in San Francisco. Aaron graduated summa cum laude from the Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned dual bachelor of science degrees in economics and electrical engineering, and carried a minor in math.
Adit is an Associate on NEA's Healthcare Team focused on life sciences investing. He joined NEA in 2023 after spending two years as an investment banker at Lazard, advising on biopharmaceutical M&A transactions. Previously, he spent time conducting oncology research at Allogene Therapeutics, where he published his work in Cancer Research. Adit graduated summa cum laude from the Roy and Diana Vagelos Program in Life Sciences and Management at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned dual degrees in biology and economics from the Wharton School.
Alex joined NEA in 2020 and is a Principal focused on growth-stage investments across enterprise, fintech, and consumer. Prior to NEA, Alex was an investor at Vista Equity Partners, focused on mature enterprise software companies. Alex previously co-founded mobile app security company Fractal, which was eventually acquired. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a BS in computer science and economics. While in college, he was also an investor at A-Level Capital, a venture fund backing Hopkins students, alumni, and faculty.

Ali joined NEA in 2007 and is currently a Partner and co-head of the firm's healthcare team, specializing in the biopharmaceutical and medical device sectors. Before NEA, Ali worked at The Medicines Company, Morgan Stanley, and Lehman Brothers. He also spent time conducting research at the National Institutes of Health and Duke University. Ali concurrently earned an MD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and an MBA from The Wharton School. He received his bachelor's degrees in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, and chemistry from Duke University.
Andrew joined NEA in 2014 and invests in founders innovating in AI/ML, fintech, frontier tech, infrastructure software, technically differentiated SaaS and security. Prior to NEA, he was a member of Blackstone's M&A Group. Prior to Blackstone, he founded Flicstart. Andrew serves on the Cornell University Council, the Advisory Council for Entrepreneurship at Cornell, and is President Emeritus of the Cornell Venture Capital Club. He earned his master's degree as a Schwarzman Scholar and his bachelor's degree in economics and science of earth systems in engineering at Cornell.

Ann is a Partner at NEA, where she focuses on early-stage investing in consumer technology and AI application software and marketplaces. Prior to NEA, Ann was Chief Operating Officer of Rival (acquired by Live Nation) and held business leadership roles at Uber and Twitter during their growth phase. As an operator, she has seen Silicon Valley startups through each phase of the company-building lifecycle, from first launch to IPO. Ann holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BS from UC Berkeley.

Arjun joined NEA in 2021 as an investor on the Technology team, where he focuses on consumer and enterprise technology investments. Prior to joining NEA, Arjun was a merchant banker at The Raine Group, in New York, where he worked on M&A transactions and growth equity investments across the technology, media, and entertainment landscapes globally. Prior to Raine, Arjun worked in Sales & Trading at J.P. Morgan. Arjun graduated from Princeton University with a BA in economics.

Ayush joined NEA in 2023 as an Associate on the Technology team, focusing on enterprise and consumer investments. Prior to joining NEA, Ayush spent two years at Qatalyst Partners, in San Francisco. At Qatalyst, Ayush worked with management teams across software, infra, semiconductors, and fintech. Originally from Houston, Ayush graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with degrees in business honors, finance, and mathematics.
Blake joined NEA in 2014 and focuses on investments in digital health (encompassing healthcare services and healthcare IT) and biopharmaceuticals. Prior to NEA, Blake was a member of the private equity group at Ares Management, focused on investments in healthcare. His previous experience includes investment banking at Moelis & Company and equity research at Barclays Capital. Blake graduated from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in economics with concentrations in finance, real estate, and management.
Brandon joined NEA in 2014 and is a Principal focused on enterprise and consumer technology investments in the US, China, and other emerging markets in Asia. Brandon works with companies across all stages and sectors, including Tuya, Moqi, BlueOcean, Woebot, ByteDance, Workera, and Gravel AI, among others. Prior to joining NEA, Brandon was a member of Barclays' Financial Sponsors Group Investment Banking team, in New York. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned dual bachelor of science degrees in financial and systems engineering.

Brooke joined NEA in 2005 as a Venture Partner, focusing on software, systems, and internet investments. He brings 40-plus years' experience in technology finance and operations. Brooke serves on the board of directors and as audit committee chair of NVIDIA, Tenable, and GoodLeap. Before joining NEA, Brooke was a Partner with Technology Crossover Ventures. Prior to his pivot to venture, he had a 25-year career as an operating executive. As a founder, officer, investor, or director, Brooke has been directly involved in 12 IPOs and 13 strategic acquisitions.
Carmen joined NEA in 2012 and serves as a Partner and Head of Asia, focused on building NEA's global organization and portfolio in China and other emerging markets in Asia. She is also involved in NEA's investments in the US and Europe. Her sector focus includes the EdTech, mental health, AI, and semiconductor spaces. Before NEA, Carmen was a partner at a major Silicon Valley law firm, where she specialized in corporate and securities law, and led the firm's China practice. Carmen holds a JD from Stanford Law School.
Claudia joined NEA in 2016 after spending 30 years at IBM, where she held various technical and leadership positions. She founded the Venture Capital Group within IBM and served as its Managing Director and Vice President of Corporate Development. Previously, she headed the Licensing and Commercialization group in the IBM Research Lab. In addition to holding several board positions, Claudia is appointed faculty at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where she teaches a course on venture capital.

Danielle joined NEA in 2023 and currently focuses on investments in digital health. Previously, she worked at Clayton, Dubilier & Rice on its healthcare team, focused on growth and buyout investing in healthcare services. She started her career at Morgan Stanley in the Investment Banking division. There, Danielle focused on M&A advisory in the Natural Resources/Global Industrials group. Danielle graduated Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude, from Duke University with a BS in economics with a finance concentration.
Danielle joined NEA in 2017. As a Partner based in New York, she is focused on consumer, social, and commerce infrastructure companies. She is an active investor and/or serves on the board of Burrow, Fizz, Goody, Patreon, and Prime, among other companies. She is also a member of NEA's Asia investing team. Prior to joining NEA, she was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs covering fintech. She graduated from Northwestern University with a BA in economics, business institutions, and Chinese.
